DA SOLEIRA... ATRAVESSANDO A RUA by Núcleo LIMINA

This exhibition is the result of a transdisciplinary artistic project, in the public domain, developed in Lomba, in the parish of Bonfim, Porto, between September 2024 and August 2025. In dialogue with urban policies, it proposes the construction of a critical space, through a simultaneously aesthetic, political, and ethical inscription of citizen participation. Lomba is currently undergoing a process of rehabilitation of its housing complexes, known as “islands.” In this context, we sought to engage with the local community through meetings focused on sharing stories and ideas, revealing the daily lives, experiences, and challenges of those who inhabit this territory. Through photography and a musical-literary piece, combining memory with the inevitable transformation of space, we present the mapping of an urban place, seeking the collective construction of the common good.
