11th EDITION OF MIRA PINHOLE PHOTOGRAPHY
MIRA Galerias | MIRA artes performativas
Exposição
8.11.2025
The photographs on display are the result of the 11th international open call developed by MIRA Galerias. We aim to bring together a significant collection of photographs taken with pinhole cameras—built, adapted, or purchased—using any sensitive material, analog or digital, and which, in some way, are representative of the great plasticity of this technique. We received photographs from all over the world!
There are four curators for this edition – Adelino Marques, António Martins Teixeira, Augusto Lemos, and Rui Apolinário – responsible for selecting the photographs to be included in the exhibition.
We welcome with equal enthusiasm the works that bring us perspectives, emotions, and feelings from different parts of the world. All different, but all testifying that we are humanity. The works on display and projected are a testament to the fact that pinhole photography has followers who keep alive, in the contemporary world, the magic of one of the oldest forms of photography.
